Educational Session: Sexual Assault Forensic Medical Examination

| AORN Website | - Members are able to access all information from our chapter website and also from the AORN website. All are encouraged to view the sites.

| Product Fair |
- Tuesday 11/20/07 at JFK Conference Center
- 7 vendors registered so far
- Caterer is all set
- Poster/Storyboard presentation at the fair will be an educational effort for students of elementary and middle school ages. This will educate students to the opportunities open to them in the Perioperative Nursing field. This effort will allow us to apply for “Chapter Excellance Award” which is awarded by AORN.
- 50/50 Raffles were distributed to each Hospital representative.
- Gift baskets donated by each hospital will serve as door prizes as previous years.
- Instead of bringing food for Food Bank donations, a donation box will be setup for funds/gift cards to be donated. Those monies collected will be used to purchase the food to be donated to the food bank.

- Please encourage vendors at your facility to register for the event.
- Each hospital encouraged to bring poster/storyboard to Fair. Please contact Board member with your topic; the following topics have been selected.
- JFK-Role of Scrub/Circulating nurse
- RWJH- Role of RNFA
- RBMC- Role of PAT nurse
- If representative from your hospital has not received raffles please contact Geri DiGiovanni.

AORN Congress | - Delegates miss sessions so Candidate forum & Informal Meet the Candidates will now meet on Saturday. First Quorum will meet on Sunday.Awards Reception, no longer a dinner.

- Need to have further discussion on how delegates will be selected for Congress. Ideas have been point system; points would be accrued according to meeting attendance, chapter activity participation.
