The business meeting was called to order by Maria Alverez at 7:10pm.

President Alverez welcomed new faces to meeting. Spoke on the difficulty to make all meetings however, the survey that was conducted last year showed that more members stated they would attend more meetings if they were held quarterly.  The Chapter began holding the meetings quarterly in January, 2007.  Please encourage others to attend.

   Profits and money to update the Website

  • Product Fair collected $60 in jar for Food Bank; monies sent to Salvation Army and we received a Thank You

  • Web designer was hired to enable members to access Chapter 3107 Website and become aware of Chapter activities.

AORN Congress

  • Ria submitted the Storyboard Presentation that was presented at the Product Fair as an Educational Effort for the Presidents Award at 2008 AORN Congress. She received two tickets to attend the Awards Cocktail Hour; We will find out that night if the Chapter has won an award.

Program Saturday, March 1, 2008

  • Steve Furst and Stryker Endoscopy will be presenting a 4 CEU program and will also provide Breakfast and break.

    The cost is $20 now or $30 day of event. 

    We have 95 people registered as of now.

    It will be held at RWJUH at 8am.

    Free parking available in the Paterson St Parking Deck.
